They are very pedantic and won’t leave any stone unturned - which is what every buyer (probably to the chagrin of vendors LOL) wants! Use this information to further negotiate the asking price of the property you want to buy. Deal with confidence and get the peace of mind you deserve! Kudos to Karl and the rest of the team! ps: to vendors complaining about home inspectors finding a lot of things in the property they want to sell, that says a lot about you and your intentions. As a buyer I would rather have every nook and cranny inspected and I will be the one to make the decision on if it’s a serious or none serious matter.

I originally went with Whats Up Building Inspections because they were well rated by Consumer Magazine but Karl (and Suzanne) still far exceeded my expectations. Karl did 7 inspections for me before I finally managed to buy a house. I attended the first one and he took the time to explain and show me what he had found. He was happy to answer my questions and didn't treat me like a girl. After this I didn't feel like I needed to attend inspections and he was happy to talk through any questions I had on the phone (if I had any). His reports came through quickly and are laid out nicely. He also tries to add value by making them a maintenance guide for if you are successful. Since moving into my house I have referred back to the report and passed on extracts/photos to contractors when getting quotes. Karl and Suzanne also went out of their way to do inspections at short notice where auctions had been brought forward. I would highly recommend Karl and Suzanne and will use them if I buy another house.

Karl the building inspector arrived early and had already made good progress on the inspection when I got there. I was amazed at the level of attention to detail and care, over and above previous people I have used. Karl went through everything with me once he had finished and pointed out areas that would need work, or attention immediately and also included some suggestions that I loved for improvements to add value to the property. The report was very comprehensive and I liked the summary at the end, so you can easily refer to the things that are a priority. Karl Papa is amazing. I highly recommend him. He did a building report for a home we are purchasing and all I can say is WOW! The house was recently built and so you would think there were no issues. Well Karl did a thorough building report and if it wasn't for him we would not have known of those issues that needed fixing. We are very thankful that we used Karl. Karl from What’s Up carried out an inspection for a unit I purchased recently. He was very easy to deal with and explained the process as I had never bought a home before. Karl was professional, reliable, and thorough. The feedback from the real estate agent who let him onto the property was that he was prompt, professional, and friendly.
